Just take a look at this, when Sissoko goes powering down the wing and just as he crosses, Dimitri is nowhere to be seen and then...

Boring game until Payet came on...\\\\

If Pogba had moved out of the wall Payet's FK would have won it for France...

Well, I'm wrong.

The double dotted e and i CAN occur in proper nouns in German, but they are extremely rare (and aren't, strictly speaking, umlauts but diaereses).

Don't know if Moët is one of these rare cases, though.

Re: Switzerland v France
It is Dutch

This is where it gets confusing. Moët was born in France in 1683; however, his name is not French, it is Dutch, which is why it is pronounced thus, says Helen Vause, public relations spokesperson for Moët & Chandon in New Zealand.

Re: Switzerland v France
Well, the spelling of Moët certainly isn't German - no umlauts on es in German, only on as, os and us

The name Moët is Dutch or German, I forget which.

I can't believe that West Ham supporters still don't know how to pronounce Dimitri's surname. It doesn't matter if you're saying it in his homeland or France, it's with a hard T, as in Moet.

Re: Switzerland v France

Adding a strong T to the song will make for a good rhythm

We've got Paye, T!
Dimitri Paye, T!

Etc
Thanks

They must be pioneers in tissue paper clothing

Is that the definitive answer? Even so, if the T is pronounced it shouldn't be underlined. Maybe its just Jonathan Pearce thats annoying me!

I guess until we get to knockout you are going to have these games where teams settle for the point.
